Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we are hearing about the terrible tragedy that occurred in the province of Saskatchewan to the Humboldt Broncos Junior Hockey Team we feel shock, sadness, empathy and so many other emotions.
At Lake Bonavista School, we would like to show our support for the people connected to this sad event. A group of British Columbia hockey parents are asking Canadians to wear a jersey on Thursday, April 12 to show support for those that have been impacted by this tragedy. If students do not have a jersey, they can wear something green.
Students will also be invited to write messages of support that will be collected into a book format and sent to the public school in Humboldt Saskatchewan.
